Ham and Fondue Omelette

There are so many possibilities with eggs. Here's an omelette recipe with a magical fondue twist. Omelettes are delicious at any meal and are just perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
  • 1 fondue Chic! fumée (smoked) by 1001 Fondues, 350 g (12 oz.)
  • 8 eggs (2 eggs per person)
  • 60 mL (4 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 250 mL (1 cup) diced ham
  • 15 mL (1 tablespoon) chopped chives
  • Salt
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour in egg mixture. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Prepare the fondue according to package cooking instructions.
  5. When the bottom is almost cooked, add ham and fondue.
  6. Fold omelette in half and complete cooking in the oven.
  7. Sprinkle with chives.

Simply decadent! Enjoy your omelette!

*For a spicier version, add Tabasco to the egg mixture.
