Ingredients
  • 1 fondue Chic! au whisky by 1001 Fondues, snack size, 125 g (4 oz.)
  • 2 packages of cocktail sausages, 225 g (8 oz) each
  • 1 package of bacon, 454 g (1 lb)
  • 90 ml (1/3 cup) maple syrup
  • Freshly ground pepper
Preparation

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wrap each cocktail sausage with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Arrange the sausages on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with maple syrup.
  4. Bake the sausages in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  5. Prepare the fondue according to the package cooking instructions. Stir in 30 ml (2 tbsp) of maple syrup and season with pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the hot sausages with the cheese fondue.
