As an old adage of 1001 Fondues has it, the expression "cultural hot pot" has its origins in the custom of cheese fondue. And it’s understandable: As well as bringing everyone together and promoting great conversations, it sometimes adds a touch of sunshine and a myriad of flavours to the menu. Treat your taste buds!
Ingredients

• 1 fondue Chic! au vin (wine) by 1001 Fondues, snack size, 125 g (4 oz.)
• 15 mL (1 tbsp.) fresh mint, finely chopped
• 15 mL (1 tbsp.) fresh cilantro, finely chopped
• 1 mL (¼ tsp.) fresh ginger, grated
• 1 mL (¼ tsp.) ground garlic powder
• 1 mL (¼ tsp.) ground cumin
• Pinch of cayenne pepper
• ½ lemon fondu

Preparation

1. Cook fondue according to package cooking instructions.
2. Add mint, cilantro, ginger and spices.
3. Add finely grated lemon zest and lemon juice to taste.
4. Serve with Naan bread.

Some curries are spicy, others are sweet and sweet. In any event, 1001 Fondues agrees with William Cowper who said that “Variety is the very spice of life, that gives it all its flavour.”
