The Artists Behind 1001 Fondues
Creative Women Shaping Our Visual Identity
At 1001 Fondues, art is part of our DNA. We often talk about fondue, cheese, chocolate, broths, and recipes that bring people together with elegance and conviviality. But behind every photo, every video, every web page, and every package, there is something even more precious: accomplished artists. Passionate women who shape our visual universe with unmistakable authenticity and a creativity that inspires us every single day.
Because at 1001 Fondues, art isn’t a detail. It’s an essential ingredient. Authenticity isn’t negotiable — it’s simply how we work. And creativity? It’s the very signature of our company.
Today, we want to pay tribute to the women who turn our recipes into emotions and our products into pure “WOW.”
Émilie Hallé — Art Director: Brand Guardian and Creative Visionary
Émilie is a grounded creative force. Epicurean, curious, and quick‑witted, she thrives on excellence and has an extraordinary eye — she notices everything. As co‑founder of 21 grammes, she brings more than 30 years of experience in advertising ideation and visual design for major national brands.
She has a sharp sense of relevance, a unique ability to synthesize ideas, and one clear obsession: creating emotion in service of the brand.
With 1001 Fondues, Émilie ensures the coherence, beauty, and depth of our visual identity. She orchestrates ideas, guides visual choices, and ensures that every creation reflects our values: authenticity, conviviality, pleasure, and human warmth.
Josée Robitaille — Culinary Stylist: 30 Years of Expertise in the Service of Great Taste
Josée is no newcomer to the culinary world — far from it. She has been immersed in it since the age of 15. With training in visual arts, followed by culinary arts and food service management at the ITHQ, she has worked as a sous‑chef and chef in Quebec, France, and beyond. For more than 30 years, her name has appeared as a culinary stylist and consulting chef for cooking shows, cookbooks, menus, and countless photo shoots.
She has contributed to more than thirty cookbooks, including two of her own: C’est l’hiver! and C’est l’été!.
For 1001 Fondues, Josée is far more than a collaborator — she is a creative ally. She stages our recipes with artistic precision, sharp attention to detail, and a deep understanding of flavor. Thanks to her — and her natural collaboration with Maxime, our chef — every plate speaks a little more.
Audrey Mc Mahon — Food Photographer: Revealing the Real, with Sensitivity
Audrey’s photographic practice is guided by observation, sensitivity, and human connection. Her attentive eye lingers on light, textures, composition, and all the subtle details that give rise to an image that is strong, honest, and coherent.
She works primarily in corporate and documentary environments, with a strong specialty in food and product photography. For Audrey, the process matters just as much as the result: a photo shoot is first and foremost a meeting — a simple, human space where everyone feels heard, respected, and free to be themselves.
At the crossroads of artistic creation and applied photography, Audrey seeks to reveal an atmosphere, a craft, an identity. Her images don’t just illustrate — they tell the truth. Thanks to her, our recipes gain a luminous depth that perfectly reflects our philosophy.
Marie‑Josée Marcotte — Photographer & Graphic Designer: The Expert Eye Behind Our Packaging
Marie‑Josée has been immersed in the world of photography for more than 20 years — and it shows. A seasoned photographer who naturally evolved into graphic design, she masters two crafts that complement each other beautifully. Her approach is intuitive yet always carefully planned. She pushes her creativity further with every project while remaining deeply attentive to her clients — a quality that distinguishes her as much as her talent.
She is the one behind the photos on our packaging: images that speak for themselves and make you want to open the box right away.
Geneviève Roussel — Videographer & Photographer: The Creative Energy Behind Our Social Media
Geneviève has lived in the world of images since her teenage years. The daughter of a cameraman, she grew up surrounded by cameras and fascinating electronic gadgets. Today, she is a true one‑woman production team: ideation, concept, filming, editing… she does it all, with efficiency and good humour.
Her clients appreciate her simplicity, collaborative spirit, and ability to find both creative and technical solutions. Her greatest pride? Turning into visuals — with emotion — exactly what her clients had in mind. The 1001 videos featuring the Hot Fondue Bread, as well as the magical gourmet atmosphere of the Quebec City Christmas Market, showcase her talent perfectly.
For 1001 Fondues, Geneviève captures the moment, the movement, the human warmth, and the deliciousness that make our social media come alive.
Thank You, Ladies!
At 1001 Fondues, every image, every video, every package, and every recipe carries the imprint of real human talent. Without Josée, Audrey, Émilie, Marie‑Josée, and Geneviève, 1001 Fondues simply wouldn’t have the same soul. To these five authentic women who shape our identity with heart and generosity: thank you.
