A renowned journalist and food columnist, Allison is a prominent voice in the Canadian epicurean world, especially in Quebec City. In her trademark humorous style, the flavour seeker describes herself as a passionate “hedonist.”

Her virtual community of over 100,000 followers showcases the influence of her vibrant passion for gourmet delights, her sharp reviews, and her inspiring culinary discoveries. Her iconic “Salut les gourmands !” has become a celebrated signature catchphrase in the gastronomic media, resonating across North America and beyond.

Hailing from a small village in Ontario and raised in Quebec City, Allison launched her journalism career in Toronto, where she discovered her passion for cuisines from around the world. Her journey then took her to CHOM 97.7, a leading English-language commercial radio station in Montreal.

In 2009, upon her return to Quebec City, Allison became a privileged witness to the city’s culinary renaissance, closely following the rise of bold young chefs reinventing the once-elitist local gastronomic identity. With her keen perspective and engaging writing style, Allison has been instrumental in spotlighting this vibrant transformation.
