• 4 slices pound cake, cubed
• 175 mL (3/4 cup) small red grapes (or halved if large)
• 1 apple, diced
• 125 mL (1/2 cup) crushed pecans
• 60 mL (1/4 cup) maple syrup
• 30 mL (2 tbsp.) maple sugar

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
2. Spread a third of the fondue between 4 individual baking dishes. Add half the cake and half the fruit.
3. Repeat these three steps and finish with the remaining fondue.
4. In a bowl, combine pecans, syrup and maple sugar. Spread over the 4 desserts.
5. Bake in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes or until the fondue is runny, the top of dessert is caramelized and the internal temperature is 75 °C (167 °F). If necessary, finish browning under the broiler.
