Ingredients

Ingredients for the Buffalo Blue Sauce

  • 1 fondue Chic! au whisky by 1001 Fondues, snack size, 125 g (4 oz.)
  • 50 ml (1.5 oz) cooking cream
  • 75 g (2.5 oz) Quebec blue cheese
  • Zest and juice of ½ lemon
  • Ground Cayenne pepper, to taste

Ingredients for the Roasted Pepper Sauce

  • 1 fondue Chic! au whisky by 1001 Fondues, snack size, 125 g (4 oz.)
  • Olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) roasted peppers, finely chopped
  • Hot sauce, to taste
Preparation

Preparation for the Buffalo Blue Sauce

  1. Prepare the fondue according to the package cooking instructions.
  2. In a saucepan, bring the cream to a boil and add the blue cheese. Incorporate the fondue.
  3. Add the zest and juice of half a lemon, along with a pinch of cayenne pepper. Keep warm over low heat until ready to serve.
  4. Serve with chicken wings.

Preparation for the Roasted Pepper Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add roasted peppers and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the cheese fondue and cook until the internal temperature is at least 75 °C (167 °F).

*For a vegetarian version, opt for Buffalo cauliflower wing bites.
