Scenic Brews: Enjoying Craft Beers with a View

The microbrewery’s panoramic terrace provides awe-inspiring views of the majestic St. Lawrence River, one step away from the beach, crafting an idyllic ambiance for indulging in local craft beers and, perhaps, a decadent cheese fondue!

Live in and for the Moment!

The microbrewery’s pub exudes a vibrant ambiance with live music and dishes crafted by local artisans, expertly complemented by an array of beers. One standout dish is the fondue À la Triplette de Tadoussac, a favourite among both tourists and locals! This bold combination effortlessly blends Quebec cheeses with the microbrewery’s Triplette beer (a Belgian-style brew), delivering an authentic Quebec flavour experience for both fondue enthusiasts and beer connoisseurs.

A Moment of Inspiration … and There was the Fondue À la Triplette de Tadoussac

The inspiration behind the fondue À la Triplette de Tadoussac, traces back to April 2018, during a meticulously planned incognito visit to Microbrasserie Tadoussac as part of its partnership exploration efforts. At that time, the brewery was still a relatively new and intriguing destination. It was while enjoying a pint of Triplette on-site—a blonde ale brewed with four cereals, boasting both roundness and richness—that 95% of the vision for a new product came to fruition. This scouting visit by 1001 Fondues was a pivotal eureka moment that marked the beginning of a promising collaboration.

All that remained was to conduct a series of factory tests to confirm the recipe. Yet, the outcomes of such trials are naturally rife with surprises. When delving into research and development for cheese fondue, one can never predict what lies ahead. In this instance, it was a home run right off the bat!

The final and pivotal step was to “surprise” the microbrewery’s general manager, Martin Fournier (remember, the entire product development process occurred without his knowledge!), by pitching to him the fondue À la Triplette de Tadoussac, a specialty cheese from the Quebec terroir that highlighted one of the establishment’s flagship beers! It was yet another home run! This official meeting immediately marked the start of a vibrant business partnership that 1001 Fondues is especially proud of today!

Tadoussac : Where Maritime and Brewing Worlds Unite

In conclusion, Tadoussac emerges as an enchanting destination where nature converges with culture, and now, where brewing flavours seamlessly blend with the maritime identity of the region. Microbrasserie Tadoussac, with its creativity and authenticity, embodies this essence. Through the fondue À la Triplette de Tadoussac, 1001 Fondues is thrilled to contribute, in its own unique way, to the success of this emblem of regional pride. Amidst summer celebrations, craft beer tastings, Quebec cheese fondue, and shared moments, Tadoussac, along with “its” microbrewery, offer an authentic experience, at the junction of culinary delights and cultural exploration.
