Warrior Blends Muffin

Want to kick-start your day with a bang? The Warrior Blends Muffin may be just what you need!
Ingredients
  • 1 fondue Da Guerrier by 1001 Fondues, 350 g (12 oz)
  • 250 mL (1 cup) whole wheat flour
  • 250 mL (1 cup) unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp.) baking powder
  • 5 mL (1/2 baking soda
  • 5 mL (1/2 tsp.) salt
  • 2 eggs
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line 12 muffin tins with paper or silicone liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and the contents of the spice blend packet enclosed in the fondue package.
  3. Cook the fondue Du Guerrier for half the cooking time indicated on the package.
  4. Add fondue and eggs to dry ingredients and stir just until flour is moistened.
  5. Using an ice cream scoop of about 75 mL (1/3 cup), divide the mixture among the 12 muffin tins. Bake in the centre of the oven for about 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of muffin comes out clean and until the internal temperature is at least 75°C (167°F). If desired, for browner muffins, broil for a few seconds. Cool on a rack.
