
- 1 fondue Da Guerrier by 1001 Fondues, 350 g (12 oz)
- 250 mL (1 cup) whole wheat flour
- 250 mL (1 cup) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) sugar
- 15 mL (1 tbsp.) baking powder
- 5 mL (1/2 baking soda
- 5 mL (1/2 tsp.) salt
- 2 eggs
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line 12 muffin tins with paper or silicone liners.
- In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and the contents of the spice blend packet enclosed in the fondue package.
- Cook the fondue Du Guerrier for half the cooking time indicated on the package.
- Add fondue and eggs to dry ingredients and stir just until flour is moistened.
- Using an ice cream scoop of about 75 mL (1/3 cup), divide the mixture among the 12 muffin tins. Bake in the centre of the oven for about 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of muffin comes out clean and until the internal temperature is at least 75°C (167°F). If desired, for browner muffins, broil for a few seconds. Cool on a rack.
