La Léonne fondue with beer is delicate yet full of flavour—a surefire crowd-pleaser. Léonne beer, made by Carleton-based microbrewery Le Naufrageur, offers citrus notes that perfectly set off the blend of Fromagerie de l’Isle cheeses.
Our L’Ancêtre fondue is made with cheeses from the Bécancour cheesemaker L’Ancêtre, plus beer from the Carleton-sur-Mer microbrewery Le Naufrageur. The two are expertly combined into fondue at our small factory in Quebec—it’s hard to get more homegrown than that! The result is full-bodied, perfectly balanced and packed with flavour.
We’re delighted to offer you this deliciously local fondue, full of the flavours of Quebec’s North: savoury, with floral aromas and a delicately fragrant touch of garlic flower from the unique Fleurs d’ail cheese. Fondue au Village is made using the amazing raw milk cheeses crafted by mother-daughter team Anne and Hélène of Le Fromage au Village in Lorrainville, Témiscamingue.
